End Times – Great Tribulation
aka: Rapture, End of Days

I find in my studies three largely three Christian philosophical thoughts on the study of what is called “The Rapture”.

However, all three thoughts agree that there will be a Great Tribulation.

Pre-Tribulation (pre-trib):

There are those who believe Christians will be raptured prior to the seven-year tribulation.

  • In other words, Jesus’ followers will be spared from the suffering that will take place.

Mid-Tribulation ( mid-trib ):

There are those who believe we’ll be here on earth for the first half of the tribulation

  • the first three and a half years—of a seven-year tribulation.

Tribulation ( no rapture / post-trib ):

There are those who believe that, while God’s hand of protection will be upon the church, we will be here to endure the tribulation until the end, until the great and “Final Day”, of the Lord’s Return.

Jesus returns to gather His disciples/followers.

Whichever view you hold or even if you do not know or are not sure of what to think
— it does not affect your salvation.

Your salvation in Christ is what matters the most.

That grace instructs us to give up ungodly living and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this world, as we wait for the blessed Day we hope for, when the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ will appear.  He gave himself for us, to rescue us from all wickedness and to make us a pure people who belong to him alone and are eager to do good. Teach these things and use your full authority as you encourage and rebuke your hearers. Let none of them look

Reflections

Times Are Tough

Reflections:

Today, the various end times signs related to nature, society, world politics, technology, Isreal, and the spiritual signs are coming at us at such a fantastic rate that Bible prophecy teachers such as Dr. Ron Rhodes have begun to call the phenomenon “The Convergence”.

So many end times signs converging all at once has greatly enhanced our understanding of end times Bible prophecy, just as Gabriel foretold.

Thoughts:

  1. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Great Tribulations

Reflections:

In AD 70:

Satan instigated the Romans to attack and destroy Jerusalem,
the birthplace and epicenter of the Christian faith.

As terrible as those days were, they cannot compare to what’s coming next.

Jesus revealed to His disciples that just before His return there will be a great tribulation:

unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again
(Matthew 24:21).

This tribulation is going to encompass the whole globe.
No one will be able to escape it.
And this will be a great indicator that the return of Christ is near.
