To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.

Hebrews 11:1

Without faith it is impossible to please him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him

.. But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.

Reflections

Faith demands that I turn over all my problems:

  • all my critical situations
  • all my fears
  • all my anxieties

into the hand of the Lord.

When I have done all I can do and I know my battle is beyond my power,

I must submit all into God’s hands.
